Luxury block - Giving value to a banal, free object and a luxury item at the same time.
Luxury Block is a spiral notebook created, numbered and handmade, starting from luxury brand shopping bag: Sonia Rykiel, Paul Smith, Emanuel Ungaro, Chanel, Jean Charles de Castelbajac, Eres, Cacharel... The price of each luxury Block, more or less luxurious, is determined by how expensive the luxury items of that particular brand is.

The work of Martine Camillieri is a continuation of small experiments intended to ornament, decorate and enliven everyday life. There is also an ecological approach: the idea being to propose a second life or to multiply the usages of common consumer objects through recycling, or changing their use, so as to, in the end, limit their quantity on the planet. The intervention is minuscule: to look at, change, gather, pile up or turn over the objects close to us, to temporarily obtain from them new ones which we will prefer or will be more useful at a given moment in time.

Exposition personnelle : Chez Martin, Épicerie de Mode, Paris (2003) / Exposition collective : Add!ct, Labshop, Brussel (2005).
